I'm trying to come up with a card for a group swap. I like the colors here and I like the basic layout, but I think it needs something - just don't know what that something is... I am trying to go for the simplistic Asian look, but it just comes off as too simplistic... I just want to make sure it's swap-worthy

Edge the white with gold Krylon, maybe some gold cord in a simple knot? Sponge the white maybe with the pink ink. Something to get rid of the stark white. HTH

You might want to think about moving the flower over a bit so that the pink card base shows through a little on the left and top of the card. Another idea would be to also change the size of the mats. Make one bigger and the other small, right now they look like the same size. A third idea would be to enlargen the white piece and have the character stamped at the upper right side of the flower, on the white paper. Then it would look like an Oriental painting. Love the color choice by the way!
