 | | This is my sample for CC1108. Barbara is our hostess and she chose highland heather, crushed curry and mossy meadow for her color trio. Dessert option this week is a thank you card.
I used the wreath stamp set from Concord & 9th. It's one of their turnabout stamps. How it works is you add your first color then turn the cardstock and stamp again. This process gets repeated 4x. They provide you with a template for placement of the stamp and also the cardstock. I used my MISTI and it makes it easier if you have to restamp the image.
It's usually meant for 4 colors and since I only had 3, I stamped the highland heather lighter and then darker to get a color variant.
For my thanks sentiment, I used highland heather and then vellum for the shadow. Added a few crushed curry enamel dots to complete my card.
