 | | My card is for the Color Challenge hosted by Barbara. Her beautiful colors are: Heather Highland, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow. The dessert option is a thank you.
I thought of the two-step Painted Lavender stamp set & dies for these colors. For the lavender, I stamped the base in Highland Heather, inking up in the middle of the ink pad, which made a lighter impression. Then, I inked up the detail stamp along the sides of the ink pad. It made a darker impression.
I stamped the stems in Mossy Meadow. Everything was die-cut, along with a Mossy Meadow branch and two Crushed Curry fillers. A strip of DSP was put on the card base. The die-cuts were arranged. I popped up the lavender in front. A linen thread bow tied it all together.
Final touches were Wink of Stella on the lavender and a few iridescent rhinestones were placed on the DSP. When the card is picked up in the light, it sparkles so pretty.
We hope you will join in and create with these colors. We would love to see what you make! Thanks for looking. |
