 | | This set from The Greetery attracted me for its versatility. Here's another experiment from it. The colors are sort of close to the Color Challenge this week: the blue duckling is eating the Granny apple. Sort of close...
I cut the shortbread pan frame out of Balmy Blue and embossed it with the Spring Rectangle folder. Then I cut the inside in white with the same dies and embossed it. (Important to cut first, then emboss) That's all mounted on a card base which measures 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 In.(8 1/2 x 4 3/4 in. folded in half). I rounded the corners with a We Are Memory Keepers Chomper, 1/4".
The flowers are from the Greetery Botanical Paper Whites dies and lightly sponged with Daffodil Delight before I added little pearl to each centers. The bouquet is tied with one of the die cut bows from Simon Says, lightly sponged with Balmy Blue. |
