Christmas Greetings

A quick card for this challenge.

I had already die cut this image from an old Christmas card so cut a fancy circle in red shimmer paper to add behind the image and another piece as a layer.
The sentiment was also cut from and old Christmas card.

What a beautiful Christmas card, Jan. Lovely bird and I really like that intricate die you used to mat the bird, lovely and delicate.

That is the cutest little birdie! Clever to reuse it so someone else can enjoy him.

Do you have robins in Spain? I know you do in the UK year round. Beautiful!

Lovely, I like the scallop frame you chose, and the sweet bird.

You had me at "robin"! I love it. So glad you could re-purpose it. I seek out robin stamps, robin dies, robin papers. Especially those sweet, cheeky little English robins. I'm actually watching a little robin flit about in the park across the way from our place - he's very happy as we've had rain lately which has brought lots of bugs up to the surface.

Our family has a long, long history of sharing robin cards. It goes back to my grandmother and her mother. Before the family moved to Canada from England in 1928, my Grandmother gave her mother a wee card with robin on the front. Inside it simply read: Dear Mother, "A Robin" Love Alice I still have the little card - it was apparently important enough to pack to take on the ship to the "new country". Since that time the whole family (for 6 generations now) send each other robin cards simply announcing that it is indeed "a robin". My youngest grandson's middle name is Robin because of this tradition. So that's my story. lol ❤️❤️❤️

I just love the little bird. He/she gives it such a vintage feel.
