More details on the Simon Says Stamp store blog: Layers of ink
I was inspired by letters to create a page covered with large letters, which form the message of the page.
Glue patterned paper to the background. Die cut letters and glue to the background. Coat with matte medium and, when dry, with gesso, but don't cover everything up. Add shadows and splatters.
Die cut butterflies from left-over paper and let them fly across the page. Cut smaller sentiments from the patterned paper.
