I had a bunch of these turtles trimmed out of DSP and needed to turn them into cards. Having some cardstock with just a bit of ink blended on in the background seemed to anchor them to the paper better than just putting them onto a white background. It's still simple enough to let the character come through.This also shows one of my favorite ways to use DSP: corner borders.
I finally put together a blog post of about a dozen cards I've put together since this silly turtle suite came out over a year ago. As of today, most of the suite is available with a significant discount. Regardless of the actual supplies hopefully the ideas useful with any character stamps you might have. |
