I am totally addicted to this technique and I made three cards this week! I picked up several 6x6 paper pads at an art reuse/recycle store near me, and they are a wealth of perfect papers for eclipse cards. A lot of the papers are suited to male cards, which is an added bonus, although floral cards are beautiful too.

What a super trio of birthday cards. And I'm not sure I've ever done one with DP - looking at your masculine one on the right I am now wondering what dies I have that would work with some beautiful map paper I find very hard to use. The floral one is beautiful - so summery.

I know what you mean about this technique being addicting. I ignored it when everyone else was using it, but now that I've tried it... All three of your cards are fabulous -- it's impossible to pick a favorite.

Your trio of eclipse cards looks incredible with the way each patterned paper shifts the whole mood, and I love how the bold birthday die cuts rise cleanly from the backgrounds while the gilded embossing adds a rich glow that ties all three designs together for a cohesive set that still lets each card show its own personality.
