More details on my blog Kath's Blog
I sprayed the back of the Willow Weave Stencil with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Spray, sprayed lightly with water and pressed on to an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card to create a subtle monoprint effect. I die-cut the card using the 3rd largest die from Simon Says Stamp Rounded Rectangle set of wafer dies. I stamped the "H" image from Simon Says Stamp Floral World Builder stamp set on to the panel, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. The letter stamps can be used to create words but can also be used individually as the first letter of a word or an initial. I masked off the right hand side of the "H" and stamped the sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Basic Brushstroke Greetings 4" x 6" stamp set, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I die-cut a white card blank using the largest Rounded Rectangle die by placing the left side of the die just over the fold of the card. I stamped the bees from the Floral Word Builder stamp set and fixed the panel in place, popped up on Simon Says Stamp Thin Foam Squares to create dimension. I coloured the images using Distress Watercolor Pencils and a Distress Detailer Waterbrush - Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough to shade the wings of the bees and added dots to the flower centres with a Sakura Black Glaze Pen.
