WT1106 Caregiver Love

I had already planned to present this Ways to Use It Challenge before I found myself in awe of the hospice nurses who came to help us at the end of my brother's life this month. Those individuals are truly angels on earth, as is everyone who helps others in times of need. For this challenge, I revisited the Corner Bookmark Card technique:

I love that the recipient can remove and use the bookmark as a memento. I recommend watching the video. Even though I had made one of these before, I couldn't wrap my head around the fold for the bookmark, but it all made sense once I watched it again!

That is so sweet, Faith. And a really ideal sentiment for a carer - I was quite concerned about DH's niece when she had her dad living with her for his last month before he died. I am so sorry about your brother, and I do agree about hospice nurses. I'm kitty sitting at my sister's right now while she's away, and I remember how wonderful they were when her husband died two and a half years ago.

I love your pretty card with that sentiment, thank you for reminding us the corner bookmark technique and I'm sorry about your loss, I remember when I've lost my first husband, the caregivers where a big help for him but also for me and my kids.

This is the sweetest image and sentiment - I am going to look for it because it is the perfect one for caregivers and people facing very tough times. It is even more special because you did this special type of card with a removable corner bookmark. Fabulous make.

Faith, so sorry to hear about your brother. I lost one of my brothers while I was still in college, and I miss him still.
