 | | It's the first Word Art Wednesday challenge in May and we have the verse from Luke 6:38 as our inspiration. I reprinted the verse using the NIV version (it was just a clearer interpretation for me personally). It references the word measure at least 3 times, so I knew I wanted to use the measuring tape stamp from the Vintage Snippets stamp set from Creative Worship Stamps. I ran a piece of kraft paper through my crimper and dry embossed a scrap of vellum using a brick embossing folder. I brushed some Antique Linen distress ink on the measuring and crimped panels and also brushed the edges of the sentiment oval. Once again, I used the Diamond Mesh stencil from CWS with Peacock Feathers distress ink for the card background. Some thread and some yellow enamel dots finished it off. I colored the butterfly with Copics then sprayed with Sheer Shimmer "Sparkle" craft spray.
