CAS897 - Favourite flower
I am lily obsessed (see my other card for this challenge for a better description).
Both the distress ink background and the die-cut cover die have been languishing in little stash boxes in my stamping areas for way too long. They've survived a move from an upstairs craft room to a downstairs 'studio' craft area and most recently to my little corner in my latest crafting area. I guess they were just waiting to meet.
With all the work already done, this was easy to put together. Added some gold highlights and stamped a sentiment onto the background layer. Which I smudged. Plan B: Cut a little piece of matching cardstock and add a layered sentiment. Done!

Amazing harmony between the inked background and the intricate floral cover die, and the gold accents bring a polished touch that elevates the lilies and butterfly into a striking focal design.
