To say I'm a little bit "lily obsessed" would be an understatement. We downsized to an apartment last summer and I dearly miss the 400+ lily plants that I had in my gardens at our house. I did plant two barrels of lilies for our deck last summer. My girls thought it was a great deal because, when fall arrived the bulbs went into their flower gardens.
The stamp and die are by Technique Tuesday. Stamped in my trusty Versafine ink. Lightly coloured with an aqua brush and some Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry and Kitsch Flamingo inks. Added a few fine dots to mimic one of my favourite lilies - the Stargazer Oriental lily. If I close my eyes I can almost smell them. The white layer is a lightly textured piece that I made years ago using a Spellbinders Impressabilities (Flowers). Not as deep a design as an embossing folder. Coloured a scrap of white cardstock and cut out a mini "hello" with a die that I got as a freebie somewhere along my journey.
