Welcome to May everyone. Diane is our hostess and she is giving us the lovely color combo of Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight and Old Olive with dessert of DP.
I attached a piece of the DP, matted on Fresh Freesia to my Old Olive card base. I added a DP corner piece cut from the same DP line. I then cut my focal mat using the Beautifully Celebrated dies in Old Olive and Fresh Freesia and placed on card. I then stamped my image pieces and die cut the foliage before popping up over my sentiment strip. Last I added gold pearls for the flower centers and some added bling. There is gold in the DP corner piece and these gold pearls help pull that out a bit. These were some fun colors to work with Diane, so thanks for the combo. Now let's see what you all can bring to the gallery this week. Hope you can play along with us with these first colors of May. TFL.

The way you used the olive paper causes the freesia to almost glow, Mary! Beautiful way to use these colors! Very pretty corner piece and gold pearls to dress this card up even more~

Mary, these colors fairly glow on your beautiful card! I love all the texture and depth, love the flagged sentiment strips. So pretty!

Fabulous! Your card lives up to the stamp set name ~ Simply Beautiful! Wonderful use of the challenge colors. The flowers are so lovely. I like the filler in the blue color. The corner piece is so unique & pretty. Great card. Thanks!
