Here is the card from Kathy's gallery I used as my inspiration. Summer Coastal Scene by kmberger at Splitcoaststampers
I started with a piece of designer series paper that was 4" x 5 1/4". I cut it into 1/2" strips. Keep these strips in order so it's easy to assemble the card. I attached the first strip on the far left, then set the next strip next to it. I attached the third strip and set another strip next to that. I continued gluing every other strip onto the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of cardstock.
The pieces of designer series paper not attached had 5 dimensionals added to the back. They were added where they matched. The important thing is to keep them in the correct order.
I stamped the sentiment and boats. I die cut the boats, birds and lighthouse using the Sunset Coast Dies. I added the images to the background and added clear wink of stella to them. I cut the lighthouse free from the circle it was in and added it to the card. |
