Congrats to Kathy aka kmberger - this week's Featured Stamper.
I wandered around in Kathy's gallery for a while and chose several cards as possible inspiration but kept coming back to this CAS Poinsettia
I have been trying to pull out some OLD things that haven't been used in YEARS . . . so . . .
Things I Changed: I did keep the poinsettia but used a different die cut. Instead of the layered Square framing, I started with an intricate open Garden Weave die cut for a bg. Added a sentiment.
I looked back in my gallery and saw the last time I used the SB Garden Weave corner was 2021 - as soon as I made the first die cut, I remembered WHY I hadn't pulled it out in so long - it is a "booger" to cut, layer and release from the die (even with the wax paper buffer suggested by SB) I did forge ahead and finally completed 2 layered triangular corners - These were adhered side by side to form a rectangular bg on the white card base.
I layered my poinsettia over the garden weave bg and finished with the tiniest sentiment I could find to keep an (almost) CAS look.
This is also for the May Fan Club Christmas Challenge found HERE

Linda, your card is beautiful and the flower really pops with all the white. It is wonderful for both challenges. Your die cut behind the flower is soooo pretty

Wow, Linda, that background you made with this lovely die is gorgeous. The flower is really pretty too. Fabulous card/case for both challenges. Love it. Hugz

Linda, this is so gorgeous! A big WOW! I love all the white space with the pop of poinsettia! So Beautiful! I hate thinking it might be years before you use this beautiful die again, have you tried putting down bubble wrap instead of wax paper? I came across this idea recently and it has worked wonderfully for me!

Your intricate garden weave background creates such an elegant frame for the bold red poinsettia and the way you paired the layered corners into a full panel adds wonderful texture while still keeping the design clean and crisp, with the tiny sentiment finishing the composition in a perfectly balanced way.
