Julie is our hostess and has a wonderful site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by this picture of a spring foyer decorating idea. I love the black vase of red flowers and the picture behind it. I knew I wanted to do a similar layout with the white framing around the yellowish image and a vase of flowers. Out of all my stamps, this was the only small image I could find of flowers in a vase. I colored and fussy cut the image. Found some paper that would provide some of the yellowish color. Used a greeting tab for my sentiment.

Your red flowers look so striking against the soft yellow panel and the crisp white framing, and I love how the black vase grounds the whole design while echoing the inspiration piece, with your beautifully colored and fussy cut image adding such a clean focal point and the greeting tab giving the layout a simple balanced finish that ties everything together.

Your black vase of red flowers looks terrific on the aged print bg, Amy. Even though there is the antiqued bg, you card has a wonderful contemporary feeling.
