I love these little ducks! I used watercolor markers and colored pencils and fussy cut them out. The tulips were in my stash from years ago and I think I used Wet Looks markers directly onto the stamp. The sweet colored pink is washed out in this scan. The corner stamps looked a bit butterfy-esque to me. I stamped them on label paper for easy attachment. I punched the grass from a textured green paper and added a little more variation with a WC marker. The tulips were tucked into the scalloped oval frame, over a pre-folded green printed cs. All other elements were put on top. I stamped the word "Spring" on a small yellow scalloped oval, but decided to forego the sentiment so as not to distract from all the other details.

I love tulips, but I think they're a washout as picked flowers, they never seen to last for me. And those ducklings are just sweet. We saw mallard chicks when we went to a nearby garden last weekend. I was so pleased, I don't think I dare a single one last year. This certainly has a spot-on Spring feel.
