ABC24M13 April 22, 2026 - Letter M - monochromatic
My color for this monochromatic card is golden yellow.
I didn't want any white on this card so I started with a light yellow cardstock. I die cut the granny squares 8 times and then did an assembly line of sorts for the multi-step stamping. I used three colors: a dark golden yellow, a mid tone golden yellow, a lighter golden yellow, and then the dark golden yellow again for the centers. I stamped the outer stitches on all 8 die cut squares, then the next inner cluster of stitches on all 8 die cut squares, and so on. I arranged the finished squares on the light yellow cardstock and adhered.
To keep with the crochet theme, I stamped and colored the cat with yarn ball. To avoid any white showing, I fussy cut down to the stamped outline. I stamped in a light gray to minimize the harshness of using black for the stamped image.
