 | | I'm rather disappointed in how this card image is showing. It's beautiful IRL. Part of the problem is the photographer - me and the other part of the problem is the luxurious dp. The dp has minute gold imbedded liberally throughout the dp. You actually have to tip the paper at an angle under a light to see all the gold. I used the darkest black ink I had and pressed really hard with my MISTI (several times) but the black ink appears to be gray in the picture. It's blacker IRL. The dp was adhered to a gold c.s. and then to a black cardstock base.
My DH and I both thought the card was handsome so I did mail it to the birthday boy.
