I am excited to be a guest designer in the Color Challenge for April. Mary is the hostess this week and she picked Pretty Peacock, Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.
A friend of mine lost his best friend in a motorcycle accident last night. They shared a deep love of motorcycles so I wanted to do something related to that. I knew a full motorcycle would not be possible for me, so I went with just a portion of one.
I watched this video by Kristi Arzola and tried to do something similar:
Mine is a lot less detailed and I did it quickly. I think the colors from the challenge worked well with some neutrals mixed in.

Amazing painting. The challenge colors worked well for it. I like the added gears and embossing. A wonderful masculine sympathy card. It was sweet of you to personalize your with the motorcyle inspiration. I'm so sorry for your friend's loss. Hugs!
