Birthday Angie by DellsDani at Splitcoaststampers
I love paper quilts. I have recently gathered up my scraps and organized them. I knew right where to go for this floral print. Interesting fact: In the 2011 Stampin Up mini catalog, the description says this paper brings to mind 1930s springtime gardens and parlors. Sounds perfect for a quilt card with velvet ribbon.
For my case, I kept the birthday theme and paper quilt design. I changed to a strip quilt and used a die-cut label with stitch marks for my sentiment.
After gluing the strips, I dry embossed the panel. The velvet ribbon was in my stash. I wrapped it through the label and popped it up.
Thank you, Dani for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring me today!
