A Hummer

This is for this week's CAS-a bird. I bought this background stamp for $2 at a resale shop, never inked. I restamped the hummer and the two big flowers on white cs and popped them up, finally embellished with some Stickles and LP. I had the paper towel in my spray box.
I'm also going to send this to our teapot recipient, even though I didn't follow directions. No red ribbon but she does like flowers. I think I'll figure out a sentiment with a heart, maybe in pink. oops forgot that this was also for FS1000. Whoo hooo! Fun way to use this stamp. I like that you highlighted the two flowers and the hummer by cutting them out and popping them up. The bg is pretty.

very interesting card... I like the background paper, I've never tried using paper towels.. this came out great! the stamped flowers and added cut bird and flowers are quite interesting..

Whatever you stamped the background on is fascinating looking - my paper towel doesn't have such an interesting texture. And I certainly don't think I'd expect to get such a good result stamping on it.

The layered texture you achieved with the stamped paper towel makes such an eye‑catching backdrop, and the way you popped up the hummer and flowers gives the whole scene great depth.
