Scripture verses are always wise. I love this Penny Black stamp set, full of Bible verses. I cased Lisa Freeman's cards that she featured on her tutorial last week. I used the same patterned paper from SU, which I believe might still be available. I also did not stamp on the bg like she did and I used a different punch. This card is for my sister-in-law, who has a birthday tomorrow.

The mix of patterned papers creates such a warm, layered backdrop for the verse, and the soft colors let the sentiment take center stage beautifully. The linen thread and those tiny sparkly flowers add just the right touch of texture without overwhelming the design. A thoughtful and elegant birthday card with a lovely sense of calm.
