My goals for this card were to include a bird, to use some of the In Colors that are retiring very soon and to keep it CAS.
With the help of my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig, I used an old wood-mounted set with a bird. I selected a paper with three of the retiring In Colors. I stamped the branch. To stamp the bird, I used a post-it note on the stamp to block the tail, inked up the body with Petunia Pop, removed the post-it, huffed on it and made the impression. Then, I cleaned the stamp, repeated masking technique to ink up the tail with Peach Pie and made the impression, with the help of the SAMJ. I stamped the sentiment. Trimmed & layered with black.
Finishing touch was Peach Pie shimmer gems. Thanks for looking! |
