 | | This card was first inspired by Saturday's IC. I'm struggling with linking the pictures, but you must have noticed all the photos that were just basically covered with all different colored flowers. That and all those bright colors inspired me to get this 3D embossing folder out and try out the spotlight debossing challenge from last Monday. I also wanted to try out my new Lisa Horton Cloud 9 metallic pigment inks. I did a direct to paper method of inking up the entire outside in orange and the entire middle in yellow. Then after I embossed, I rubbed orange over the yellow and pink over the orange. This is fabulously shimmery IRL. You can see spots of the shimmer in the photo especially up towards the top right. I also used Wednesday's sketch to help me decide what shape to use for my spotlight. Thanks for three fun challenges! |
