Claudette aka lamoore was chosen as today's featured stamper. You can find this challenge here.FS1000 [4-5-26] - A BIG DEAL CELEBRATION by nwilliams6 at Splitcoaststampers She is # 1,000 featured stamper! Amazing isn't it? Here is the inspiration from her gallery for my card. CC Sunflowers by lamoore at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colors for my card and the orientation. I stamped the largest flower in crushed curry, then the next flower in cherry cobbler. The center was stamped with soft suede. I masked the flower and stamped the leaves on each side. I stamped off several times to create the background for the sentiment using old olive. I stamped the sentiment with cherry cobbler. The acorn was added with pecan pie. I added a bow with linen thread. The image panel was added to a cherry cobbler card base.

Very pretty card, Sue! I love how you inked the sunflower! The leaves behind the sentiment is a nice touch, too!

So glad you selected one of her Painted Harvest cards, they all tempted me but I needed Christmas. This is gorgeous. I love the colors you layered on the blossom, and that you included the acorn!

Sue thanks for playing along this week and selecting one of my cards! I have always loved this stamp set. Love the rich colors that you chose for the sunflower. The added acorn is a nice touch!

Claudette has such a gallery of beauties, and boy did you just add more here, Sue with your beautiful contribution and case. I love the warmth and depth you achieved by adding in the rosy tones to your sunflower, and then carrying them over to the sentiment layer, beautifully backed by that spray of greens and perfect little acorn.

The warm, layered color work on your sunflower is gorgeous — the crushed curry and cherry cobbler blend gives the petals such depth. The soft olive stamping behind the sentiment adds a gentle glow without competing with the focal point, and the little acorn is a perfect finishing detail that ties the whole autumn palette together.
