 | | FS1000 - This week's featured stamper is Claudette aka lamoore. I found this INSPIRATION.
I am always drawn to a dog-themed inspiration card. From Claudette's design, I chose an all-over dotted background paper in place of an embossed layer, then added a coordinating dotted panel for the next layer. For the sentiment panel, I used a descriptive designer paper that highlights details about the Westie, pairing it with a Westie image to keep the theme cohesive.
I shifted the horizontal strip downward, widened it, and pulled colors from the descriptive Westie layer to keep everything unified. A thank you banner and a small top banner repeat those colors for balance. Each layer is trimmed in red to echo the tones in the Westie image from Hunkydory, and the card is finished with a scattering of pearls for a soft touch.
This will be another of my pet donation cards.
