Lisa has given us a great challenge. We're to use scraps on our card. You can find her challenge here. WT1099 - Scrappy Cards - April 2, 2026 by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers
The tutorial I followed for the disappearing nine patch card can be found here. Disappearing Nine Patch Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I followed the tutorial to make my middle square. I used the back of a piece of designer series paper and ran it through an embossing folder for the background. I ran the square through the All in a Row embossing folder for texture for the 'quilt' square. I added the square with dimensionals, added the sentiment and the center gem.

I’m in total agreement with Nancy, Sue. Those colours are stunning together, and the petite floral, and embossing lend a loveliness and elegance to your solids. Beautifully accomplished.

Earlier this morning, I thought of doing this too, but we had to go to the VA, and when I got home I went a different direction. I love what you've done. This is really pretty.♥

The disappearing nine‑patch looks wonderful here — the mix of florals and rich tones gives the block so much depth, and the added embossing really elevates the whole design. The raised center square and gem draw the eye in beautifully, and it’s such a clever use of scraps while still feeling polished and intentional. Thank you for joining in my challenge.
