You all know that I love postal images and have been anxious to use this Woodware background stamp. It's fairly covered up by some of my collection of cancelled stamps. The effect definition is from a little book of definitions I picked up at a stamping store. Whether we like it or not, we are part of the global world and we are all connected to each other. The stamps I used are from Canada, Serbia, and the US. I especially like the Minnesota one, since I live right next door and go over there frequently. Have had them in my heart for a while. This is also for yesterday's F4A-squares and rectangles. Mostly rectangles but one of the stamps is square. Thanks for the challenges!

Fun collage - love that you used cancelled stamps with your image. I especially like the Cdn one of Kootenay National Park as I'm headed for the Rockies for April. The mountains are calling...

The mix of real postage with the Woodware background creates such a rich, layered story, and the way you let the cancellations and colors overlap gives the whole piece an authentic, well‑traveled feel. What a great collection of stamps and you certainly have put them to good use. I remember my grandfather had a desk in his study that was covered in stamps from all around the world. Many, many years ago!
