 | | For this week's Letter I Alpha Challenge, I used the lovely INDIGO back cover of a real estate catalog as the die-cut background for my card. I cut leaves from the same INDIGO cardstock and embellished them by stippling some Versamark onto one side of each leaf and heat embossing them with glitter gold powder. Then I applied more Versamark closer to the centres and this time used IRIDESCENT embossing powder to complete the leaves. I fastened the leaves to the background here and there with matte medium. Then I tied some lengths of gold and IRIDESCENT thread around the stalks and covered the knot with a two-tone daisy with a gold Stickles centre. Lastly I die-cut the words and glued them down in the remaining space. |
