CAS891 Seaside Birthday

I used a new set which has ocean themes. I created a little ocean by masking off the center rectangle. Then I used dies with white and vellum to create the foam. A few starfish serves as embellishment.

Cathy, this caught my eye right away when I saw it pass through the gallery, but didn’t have time to comment. It’s even more beautiful opened up bigger. I just love the effect you created with your colours and textures. That foam effect is just fabulous.

The masked center panel creates such a serene little window into the ocean. The soft blend of blues, the vellum and white foam layers, and the tiny starfish give the whole scene a gentle sense of movement. A beautifully balanced CAS design with great texture and depth.
