Major Mitchell Cockatoos are one of the most beautiful Australian birds. Friends of mine used to have a pair of them in a large backyard aviary. I used to look after the birds daily when they were away. They were the most gentle of birds and always a pleasure to look after. The sentiment really does suit them as they were born to stand out.
Hope you enjoy.

Love this wonderful image too. We saw these beauties in the wild when we were waiting for a train in Kendall after staying with relatives when we were there in 2016. Simply stunning birds - you've created a fun card.

The soft peach and rose tones in the crest look incredible against the kraft base, and the way you framed the image really lets that beautiful bird take center stage. The sentiment feels perfectly matched to both the species and your design choices, giving the whole card a warm, confident presence.

Ah - I've come across that breed name in books, but never known his to visualise them. Great matting and layering, it adds to the portrait effect. I must remember this colour the next time I use my cockatoo die.
