Another card with the Sweet Song stamp set for the WT1097 bird challenge. I had this one stamped and coloured already so finished up the card. It is stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Onyx Black (my go-to black ink). I used Tim Holtz distress inks and an aqua pen to colour it. Did a light blue wash on the background ares. Stamped sentiments from two Papertrey Ink spring sets that I have.

The soft wash of blue behind the bird gives the whole scene a gentle spring glow, and your watercolouring brings such warmth to the feathers and blossoms. The mix of sentiments feels perfectly placed and adds to the fresh, hopeful mood of the design.
