Been awhile since I did the sketch challenge! This one caught my eye, but I did make one slight modification in that my horizontal strip goes all the way across. Something in my brain needed this symmetry, to show on both sides of the focal panel!
I've had this yellow embossed background prepared for quite some time, so I don't recall which cardstock I used or the brand of the embossing folder.
I stamped the rose using two colors of yellow and fussy cut it out of white cardstock. I cut down a white panel and used a corner rounder on all sides to match the sketch. I stamped the sentiment in black. This piece was layered over the red strip. I really like a yellow and red combo.
I stamped and colored the ladybugs, wanting some extra red to balance the horizontal strip. I used black jewels for the heads of the ladybugs.
