It's time for another Weekly Sketch Challenge. Marion is our hostess.

I colored this image (and another 11 like it) about a month ago. A friend helped me cut and score card bases the same day, and I introduced her to my Big Shot for dry embossing. Thank goodness because I have had a crazy week! This card came together quickly. I just added a few details, like rounding the corners. (I used to do that a lot!)

Such a pretty cross image and so beautifully colored. Lovely subtle embossed background and a pretty Easter card.

The soft coloring on the cross is so peaceful, and the floral details feel beautifully balanced. The rounded corners echo the gentle lines of the image, and the embossed panel adds just the right amount of quiet texture. A lovely, calm interpretation of the sketch.
