Chat is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us three bright, bold colors: Highland Heather, Old Olive, and Real Red. The dessert option this week is to use ribbon or twine on your card.
Even with a room full of stamping supplies, I drew a complete blank! I could not think of a single stamp set that would work with these colors! In desperation, I got out my little watercolor set, and dabbled. Now I have to tell you--I know nothing about watercoloring! But I've watched several videos and short reels on YouTube and Facebook, and I decided to just wing it! I will unabashedly say I am tickled with the result!
I die cut the finished watercolor panel and adhered it to a dry-embossed Highland Heather layer, added the sentiment and a few gems, and my card was done.
Now show me all the fabulous stamp sets that work beautifully with this color palette! Have fun with it and join us in the gallery!
A brand‑new ATC/Coin Swap is sailing in for June, and our theme is "The Sea". Hope you’ll dive in and join the fun! All the details are waiting for you here.

Wow, I am impressed. Your fun time of just dabbling with watercolors certainly proved to be a sucess! Beautiful use of the challenge colors for a fabulous card.
