ABC24F6 March 4, 2026 - Letter F - favorite color
I couldn't pick just one favorite color, so I decided to go with one of my favorite color combinations - Red, White, and Blue.
I knew I wanted to use the patterned paper with the whales but had to tone it down by only using a strip instead of covering the whole card front, since it is so busy. The reverse side has the waves, which I used behind the whale.
To complete my color combo, I needed to pull in some red, which I did with the scalloped circle, the sentiment, and the crab. I really debated about the crab - the card looked fine without him and he's not in proportion with the size of the whale which should be much bigger - but he was just too darn cute not to include.
This was mostly die cutting and no coloring. I die cut the plain circle, the scalloped circle, and the whale. The sentiment, water spray, and crab were also die cut, using their coordinating dies. Then everything was layered together and adhered. |
