For Pat's TPT challenge today: MMTPT919-March 3, 2026-Chickens Anyone? by casep at Splitcoaststampers

I pulled out a couple of old RubberNecker stamps for this, and took four hours to get my masking right - the first time I carefully positioned my fence upside down. Masking and sponging for the background, Glossy Accents on Henry's beak, Liquid Pearls for his legs and feet, and some raffia where the stamped straw was. Chicken wire stamped randomly over the base layer

Such fabulous images, Sabrina. Love your chicken, that fence, the feed, the sentiment (now that theme song from Green Acres is stuck in my head) and your ground and sky. Fabulous chicken card. Hugz

yep - I just watched an old episode of Green Acres recently.. Mr Douglass would be proud to see that chicken all dressed up ! Just an adorable card ! Great details in the barbed wire fencing, and the raffia is phenomenal.

Great card! I love the wonderful scene you created. There are so many fantastic details that reward closer examination, like the Glossy Accents on Henry's beak and the bits of raffia around his feet.

Great card! I especially like the chicken wire in the background. There was an old sitcom that had the line " Farm livin' is the life for me." and now I'm humming the theme song. LOL

What a cute rooster! I love the bit of rafia. . . what a fun touch. (We have a rooster now that came from a friend who had three roosters. She said he was low in the pecking order and never crowed. He is now the only rooster with seven hens so he has lots to crow about now.)

What a great scene you have created with that dapper looking rooster. (I had to google the difference between a chicken and a rooster.) Your sky is beautiful, and the liquid pearls is a wonderful touch.

I think you should have left the fence upside down -- I have no doubt if I had a farm that would be how mine would look. This is so stinkin' cute. Jeanne will adore it.

Your sentiment reminder me of an old, old TV series from my youth: Green Acres. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
