Mary W, is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she is getting us all ready for St. Patrick's Day (which, BTW is the dessert option!) with her colors: Garden Green, Crushed Curry and Basic Black. No dessert for me this week, but I look forward to seeing lots of shamrocks and leprechauns in the gallery!
I decided on a sunflower theme, and dragged out an old Simon Says kit from 2021 that I'd never gotten around to using! I stamped the single sunflower on watercolor paper, and got out my little set of watercolors to color it. Considering that I know nothing about watercoloring, I'm pretty pleased with the results! The green layer is Garden Green embossed with VersaMark and clear powder. From there it was a simple process of die-cutting the layers and stacking them all up, with some gems to finish it off.
Please try out this fun color palette. Make a St. Pat's card or go in a completely different direction. Either way, show us your creation in the gallery!
A brand‑new ATC/Coin Swap is sailing in for June, and our theme is "The Sea". Hope you’ll dive in and join the fun! All the details are waiting for you here.

Beautiful design! Everything fits together so nicely. Wonderful ideas for the challenge colors. Love the sunflower in the scalloped arch frame. Your hand-stamped background paper looks great. What a cheerful card for someone not feeling their best. Well done.

Very Cute arched get well card, Barbara. The tiny scallops look so feminine. I'm so glad you decided to take out this kit and use it because it all looks so Amazing~
