 | | This week we welcome Robyn known here as justus as this week's Featured Stamper. I chose her project More Chocolate for my inspiration.
Things I changed: I kept the Chocolate theme and the red/ yellow / Chocolate brown color combo but changed everything else.
I started with the Unity Chocolate bar and stamped with black onto Chocolate brown, fussy cut and wrapped the left side with tin foil. I stamped the image a second time in warm red on yellow, fussy cut to keep just the wrapper part and adhered over the tinfoil adjusting that element to follow the curve of my wrap.
I found a subtle golden floral DSP in my stash that played off the yellow wrapper without being too distracting. Framed it in red adding a triple scalloped diagonal wavy edge for interest. I planted my candy bar in the field of flowers and added a few punched hearts.
This will be going to a friend who's husband died unexpectedly on Black Friday - I try to send or bring her little things to make her smile or give encouragement and this will be coming with a bag of Ghirardelli Chocolate caramels so I used the sentiment from the set Warm Inside because sometimes Chocolate really is all you need!
