Stamped the bamboo with Versamark and applied Pearl Ex powders with a soft brush. Wiped away excess powder. It sticks like magic. The die cut dragonflies, were made from a white pearly ribbon that I colored first with alcohol markers. The sentiment was heat embossed with gold.

Ooh, lovely ! I remember using Perfect Pearls for bamboo, but on white not black. Ribbon dragonflies, how suitably gauzy and ephemeral. I always like the look of a vertical sentiment.

The pearly bamboo against the black creates such a rich, velvety backdrop, and the soft shimmer from the Pearl Ex gives the whole panel a quiet glow. The ribbon dragonflies are especially lovely with their gauzy, translucent wings catching the light, and the vertical gold sentiment adds a refined touch that balances the scene beautifully.
