Layers of ink
This is the very first page in my ledger journal and I decided to make a page about my paternal grandfather. He was the oldest child and therefore ended up running the family general store / post office, on the countryside.
Ink through a circle stencil and then again through a star stencil. Stamp sentiments and images. Die cut the mat from backdrops cardstock. Add a few diamonds here and there and use the large piece as a photo mat.
Die cut the title from watercolored paper and from black cardstock. Off-set for a shadow.
Ink the edges of the journal page.
