WT1094, Frosty Look
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: snietje

I had a piece of white card stock already covered with a layer of black acrylic paint, I run this through the BS, then started first with sanding, then added white pigment ink and fixed this all with hair spray, finally added white acrylic paint with my fingers here and there and sprayed hair spray again to fix and to give a glossy look, die cut the deer, squirrel and sentiment

Sounds like you had fun with this card. It's great with your technique. Like how the acrylic paint looks. TFS

What a neat card! I love the way you colored those leaves white!

Wow, Anita! The effect you created in the background is just stunning in its frosty elegance. Thanks for outlining your process. Such a perfect wintery birthday greeting.

That's a lot of steps, but the end result is really worth it. I like the humorous touch of the squirrel up near the top checking out the acorn.

What a magical winter scene, Anita. I especially love the squirrel peeping down at the deer. (I did get to see a red squirrel recently, such a treat).

This is fantastic, the background looks like leaves in frozen water! The positioning of the squirrel is perfect too.

The layered texture you built into the background is striking, with the sanding and pigment ink creating that icy depth. The touches of white acrylic paint catch the light beautifully and really sell the frosty atmosphere. The deer and squirrel silhouettes are placed so well, giving the scene a quiet winter‑forest feel, and the little squirrel peeking down adds just the right bit of charm.
