I've kept the black layer, kept the use from dsp, but changed the theme, no bird on my card but a grunge stylish girl, I kept the circle from Nancy's design, but cut mine from the main paper, cut a nesting size bigger from black linen and then layered the black behind the head popped on foam tape in the aperture
As you can see I tore my paper to make it fit on the black layer, added some white gel pen highlights, stamped a birthday sentiment and used some gold strips to add this.
Thanks for looking and thank you Nancy for the inspiration

Love the way you incorporated the circle from Nancy's design to your wonderful grunge card. That is a super image and the town edges look super with it.

This is just wonderful and fun, Anita - I love how you spotlighted the girl and her expression with the black circular fame.

The grunge styling on this birthday design is so striking. The way you lifted the circle from the main panel and backed it with black linen gives her face such strong focus, and the torn edges add great texture against the clean black layer. The gold strips and white gel accents finish everything with just the right amount of contrast.
