Happy Valentine's Day! It's my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge FS993 so a big congrats to Nancy! She has such a fun, growing gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & since I loved the colors, I kept those. I used different images, dies & a stenciled background instead of designer paper.
To make my card, I stamped the solid of the flower petals several times w/ shades of pink, red & yellow. On a couple of the stampings, I. misted it w/ water to help it spread out a bit (a Misti really comes in handy here!). Then the black outline was stamped on top. It was die cut along w/ the greeting. A pair of swanky ovals were die cut to go behind the flowers. For the stenciled panel, I used the same inks for the flowers plus the addition of a bright pink Distress ink. It was trimmed to fit on the left w/ a white scallop edge cut underneath the right edge.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

Love those '60's colours! They added such a nice splash of warmth to my damp and dull morning. The stencilling is fantastic and I love your floral/sentiment panel. Super!
