Sometimes I need to get something new to inspire me to use older items from my stash. In this case, it was a new paper pad from Stamperia. As soon as I received it, I rushed into my craft room and made two cards.
The fairy is a sticker that I bought on Etsy a few years ago. I decided she looked perfect floating in front of the two tea cups filled with white flowers. Because of the way her hands are positioned, I thought I could put something in them, and found the chipboard watering can in my stash.
The two leaves are buttons with the shanks cut off. They've been lingering in my stash for a long time, because their pale, bluish-green color doesn't go with most of the cards I make that require foliage. But they were perfect for this one.
This will be a birthday card for my sister.

This paper is gorgeous, with such soft, pretty colors. Your stickers pair with it beautifully, and those sweet leaf buttons are the perfect finishing touch.

This is so pretty. I agree, something new can inspire us to use something old. Great idea to have the fairy floating between the cups with her watering can! it was ingenious, to use the buttons. This card is a great stash buster!

Thank you for the PM! I can't use the PM system at the moment, so this is by way of a reply. I suspected that's what was happening with etsy, but didn't know the ins and outs. Tks!
