 | | Linda is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some beautiful colors to work with: Azure Afternoon, Crushed Curry, and Blueberry Bushel. The dessert option is to add a fourth color.
I made a valiant attempt to watercolor this pretty bird. Let's just say I have a lot to learn! I was attempting to get a color similar to Azure Afternoon, but my result has too much green in it. I like it OK, but it's not the color I was trying to achieve. You'd have to call my technique loose--very loose. My fourth color, the wreath, was intended to be a combination of Old Olive and Granny Apple Green. It's--something else! At least I did get in the three challenge colors with cardstock!
After assembling the layers, I added a few clear Drip Drops and my little tag. With all the whining above, I kinda like the card!
Please join us in the Gallery this week!
