WCW296 - Country Fence

I found this pretty frame at the Thrift Store and thought it would be fun to paint something for my daughter to put in it. This daughter lives on a cotton farm and all around her are fences that have vines and sometimes pretty purple or yellow flowers.

I used some of the techniques in the WCW296 to do the vines and flowers - they look better IRL.

I think they look both suitably dreamy and 3 d like this on the screen so, That is a gorgeous frame you found for the scene Nancy, I love this one.

Beautiful!!! You are my kinda gal with finding frames at thrift stores. I find many at these places. Like how you did the cotton fields and the fence line. Your daughter will enjoy the personal touch you gave this painting. Love it. TFS

Your talent never ceases to amaze me! This watercolored scene is so charming and peaceful! I can't imagine how it could look any better IRL! I need to look at my favorite new thrift store, Mercy Warehouse and pick up some frames!
