I always think it's fun to translate a scrapbook layout into a card. I have been learning how to incorporate simple watercolour techniques into my card making and this background was the perfect opportunity. My background colours dried back quite a bit, but I have that kind of L shaped red area with the lighter beige on the right side. I felt like the snowflake needed a frame, so I drew inspiration from the digital gold âe~thread' in the layout and doodled a frame with a thin gold pen.
